Senior Advocate is a designation conferred by law on a practising lawyer in recognition of certain benchmark of performance. It has more unwritten conventions and traditions than written legal prescriptions. A designated Senior Advocate must behave “every inch”a role model or a person of dignity and integrity.
A Senior Advocate must shed more light than heat to give confidence to those around him, specifically, and those in the profession at large. Responsibility is very high; because respectability attached to it is also high.
